REVIEW

The show is gripping and the characters are well-crafted. The Outsider is a captivating blend of police procedural and supernatural horror that spins a satisfyingly scary mystery yarn for those who can stomach its darkness. Great show even though the similarity with “The Night Of” is crystal clear. Another good HBO series to start the New Year. Awesome direction by Jason Bateman. Tone and style go a long way. Highly watchable.
