The circle is now complete. In the weeks leading up to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, the message was clear, “We’re going to answer your questions.” It’s true. They did. A lot of them. All at once. Driver and Ridley’s performances are sensational and make this film an interesting end to George Lucas’ beloved franchise. A finale needs to be epic, and Episode IX brings about a long overdue increase of scope. A thrilling conclusion to the Skywalker Saga that offers action, emotion and humor, while finding the right balance in appealing to both old and new audiences.
