Raven-Symons Pearman’s Fitness Tip…”Forget Cleaning Your Plate”

Raven-Symoné Pearman discussed on the daytime talk show, The View, that she was taught at an early age that she needed to clean her plate before she could leave the table. In order to break old habits and lose weight, Raven-Symoné had to forget this old teaching, so she told People that she orders food and purposely throws part of it away to practice portion control: “I order a veggie burger and throw away half a carton of French fries when I get it.” She also reportedly exercised with 30-minute elliptical workouts at least four times a week. Now, the advice she stresses for others looking to lose weight is simple: “I always preached, ‘Be comfortable with yourself,’ and I will preach that forever.”
